Food Giants band Together to Fight Obesity in UK

Details on Doctor MOTs Emerging

The UK government has set out more details on how it will be introducing five-yearly MOTs for doctors. Last year the government committed itself to bringing in a system of re-licensing 150,000 doctors to test their basic competence. FSA:UK Salt Intake Down by 0.9g

The Food Standards Authority has published new evidence today that shows the UK’s average daily salt intake has fallen from 9.5g to 8.6g since 2000. Although these figures are encouraging, it’s still a long way from the government’s target of 6g a day.
